Creative. Innovative. Handmade.
My Approach
I’ve never really separated creativity from the rest of my life.
Some people discover art later. I was the kid covering tables with markers, filling sketchbooks, building things, and constantly looking for a way to make an idea real. Over time that curiosity evolved into product design, surface pattern design, fine art, entrepreneurship, and eventually an independent creative business of my own.
What I love most about creating products and artwork is that there isn’t a roadmap. You’re responsible for everything. The concept. The design. The production. The packaging. The presentation. The customer experience. If something works, it’s because you made it work. If it doesn’t, you figure out why and try again. That mindset has shaped the way I approach every creative challenge throughout my career.
Whether I’m developing surface pattern collections, designing products, creating original artwork, or building an entire collection from a single idea, I’m drawn to projects that combine creativity with craftsmanship. The goal is never simply to make something beautiful. What makes someone feel connected enough to take it home with them? After all these years, I'm still chasing that answer. And honestly, I'm sure I always will be.
Project Snapshot
Project: A collection of independent product design, surface pattern design, fine art, and creative entrepreneurship projects developed and sold through my personal art business.
My Role: Designer, Artist, Product Developer, Creative Entrepreneur
Featured Skills: Product Design, Surface Pattern Design, Creative Entrepreneurship, E-Commerce Management, Packaging Design, Collection Development, Art Direction, Visual Storytelling, Project Management
The Challenge
Transform ideas into physical objects that balance creativity, craftsmanship, and functionality. Unlike client work with defined goals and established audiences, every project started with a blank canvas. Success depended on developing original concepts, building a recognizable creative voice, producing high-quality work, and finding ways to bring it to market. The challenge wasn’t just creating the work itself. It was building an audience that cared about it.
